Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Waiter. As a key part of our front-of-house staff, the waiter will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will be attentive, detail-oriented, and have a passion for food and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and in an organized manner.
• Ensure guests are satisfied with their meals and address any concerns or special requests.
• Prepare tables by setting utensils, glasses, and napkins, ensuring the dining area is clean and welcoming.
• Handle payments and provide accurate change or receipts to guests.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, including clearing tables and restocking supplies.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and pleasant dining experience.
• Assist in training new staff members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar customer service role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and take direction from supervisors.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Willingness to work in a busy, sometimes noisy environment.
